We prohibit the sharing of demonstrably false or substantially misleading content that's likely to cause serious harm or negatively impact individual or public safety.
What We Don't Allow
Health Misinformation
Content that directly contradicts information and guidance from leading and reputable global health organisations and public health authorities, including:
- False information about vaccines or medical treatments
- Misleading claims about public health measures
- Content that could lead to serious health consequences
- False information about diseases or health conditions
Civic Process Misinformation
- False or misleading information about elections or voting
- Misinformation about government processes or procedures
- False claims about civic rights or responsibilities
Dangerous Conspiracy Theories
- Unproven conspiracy theories that could cause harm
- Theories that promote violence or discrimination
- Content that could lead to real-world harm
What Is Allowed
You can share your opinions and perspectives, including:
- Personal opinions and beliefs
- Political views and discussions
- Questions and genuine inquiries
- Debate and discussion of current events
The key difference is between sharing opinions and spreading demonstrably false information that could cause serious harm.

Misinformation can have serious real-world consequences:
- It can endanger people's health and safety

How We Evaluate Content
When evaluating whether content violates this policy, we consider:
- Whether the information is demonstrably false
- Whether it contradicts authoritative sources
- Whether it could cause serious harm
- Whether it impacts public safety
Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Removal of false or misleading content
- Warnings or account restrictions
- Permanent ban for severe or repeated violations
