Suicide and Self-Injury Promotion

We care deeply about our members and understand that some may struggle with mental health, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, substance use, or eating disorders. While we do allow members to share personal experiences with these issues in a safe way, we don't allow any content that depicts, promotes, glorifies, or assists in activities that could lead to suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating or body image.
What We Don't Allow
Content That Promotes Self-Harm
This includes:
- Content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies suicide
- Instructions on how to harm oneself
- Content that encourages self-injury
- Graphic images or descriptions of self-harm
- Content that romanticizes or normalizes suicide or self-injury
Disordered Eating Content
- Content that promotes eating disorders
- Tips or methods for disordered eating
- Content that glorifies extreme weight loss or body image issues
- Content that could trigger eating disorder behaviors
What Is Allowed
We understand that people may want to share their experiences. You can:
- Share your personal experiences with mental health in a supportive way
- Discuss recovery and healing
- Seek support from the community
- Share resources for getting help
The key is that content should be supportive and recovery-focused, not instructional or glorifying.

How We Handle Reports
When we receive reports about content related to self-harm:
- We review the content carefully
- We remove content that promotes or glorifies self-harm
- We may provide resources and support to the person posting
- In cases of immediate danger, we may contact emergency services
Enforcement
Content that violates this policy may result in:
- Removal of harmful content
- Account restrictions or warnings
- Permanent ban for repeated violations
